Yamuna Pushkaralu Tour

- Yamuna Pushkaralu celebrates the entrance of the planet Jupiter into the zodiac sign of Cancer (Karka Rashi). This festival occurs every twelve years and is considered sacred by the Hindu religion. Devotees are encouraged to take a holy dip in the Yamuna River as a means to wash away their sins and to receive blessings. During the Pushkaralu ceremonies, there are Tarpanam ceremonies and acts of charity performed for the sake of one’s deceased ancestors.
